We booked a spacious twin room that was perfect for our family. The location was fantastic for visiting the nearby charity event, allowing us to walk there with ease. The staff provided everything we needed for our baby, making our stay comfortable.
My wife says that a bit more kid-friendly seating in the common areas would have made a big difference.

A bit more staff attention at breakfast would help.

Comfy stay with a few quirks
Had a nice time here! The room was clean, bright, and the beds were really comfy. Breakfast was a highlight, served fresh and tasty. A bit strange though when my mate got told he couldn’t have a cooked brekkie just cuz he grabbed some cereal. the road noise was kinda annoying at night. a solid choice.

Had a lovely time at this cozy spot! I enjoyed relaxing in the lovely garden and appreciated having a nice room to unwind after a day out. Just a minor snag was that the coffee and sugar weren't replenished by the second day, which didn’t bother me too much. 🌻

missingWrote a review on Aug 09historic georgian buildingfresh cookingdated decor
Unfortunately, my experience didn't quite live up to the building's first impressions. The decor feels tired and in need of a facelift, and the bed left much to be desired with its old, lumpy mattress. The bathroom was a hassle, with a shower that leaked all over the floor and a door that wouldn't shut properly. upon returning from breakfast, I was greeted with a chilly room as the heating had mysteriously turned off, making it tough to get comfortable. It's an odd sensation to be in such a beautiful place but feel like it's not fully cared for, which is a bit of a downer.

The room was super cozy with lovely toiletries, and the breakfast spread was delicious! I really enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful garden and taking a stroll around the lush grounds. Only downside was some loud chatter from staff in the morning that we overheard, but it didn't dampen our stay at all. 👍
